Oak & Clove Midwifery

Providing families with comprehensive holistic midwifery support through pregnancy, birth, and beyond!

Hello, I'm
Aubrey McMillan.

Welcome to Oak & Clove Midwifery—I’m so glad you’re here!

I offer homebirth midwifery and placenta encapsulation services to families throughout Middle Tennessee. I am a Licensed Certified Professional Midwife (CPM-TN). My passion is supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood with care that is both holistic and autonomous. I want help you to feel confident in your choices and deeply supported in every decision you make for yourself and your baby.

My path into midwifery began during my first pregnancy. I took a childbirth education class and found myself on the edge of my seat, captivated by everything I was learning. That excitement only deepened as I experienced the birth of my first daughter and truly felt the power of continuous, compassionate support. Since then, I’ve been called to this work—and it has become my life’s vocation.

Since entering the birth world in 2017, I’ve had the honor of supporting over 150 families, personally catching more than 25 babies. My experience spans a wide range of birth scenarios, including VBACs, twins, breech births, shoulder dystocia, nuchal hands and cords, posterior babies, meconium aspiration, fetal distress, placental abruption, uterine rupture, and postpartum hemorrhage. Each of these births has deepened my reverence for the uniqueness of every story and the incredible strength of the families I serve.

A little about me: I live just west of Nashville with my husband and our two beautiful daughters, and I also carry the memory of a little one we lost along the way. My own birth experiences—a cesarean, a miscarriage, and a homebirth VBAC—have shaped the way I approach care and grounded my empathy for the families I serve. When I’m not working with clients, you can find me hiking a new trail, crafting with my kids, solving puzzles, or binge-watching a favorite show. I’m also passionate about holistic living and love sharing ideas about toxin-free living, herbal remedies, and homeopathy.

It’s truly an honor to walk alongside families during such a powerful and transformative time. If you’re planning a homebirth, I would love to connect to and learn more about how I can support you along this journey.
